Welcome to the simply gilded subscription FAQ! Simply gilded offers a monthly subscription box (auto-renews once you sign up!) that is packed full of exclusive goodies made just for you ♥
Enrollment opens up once a month - dates will be posted in the updates section of the website, in our Facebook group, on instagram (@simplygildedbox) and via email notification. (you can sign up below!)

What to expect
$30 USD per month + S&H ($6 domestic USA pricing) for subscribers ($14 for Canadian subscribers, $18 for all other international subs) -- (one-time subscribers who cancel after the first month of subscribing will pay the $40 standalone box rate - see FAQ #6)
$40 USD per month + S&H ($6 domestic) for one time subscribers or subscribers outside of the offered month IF any extra boxes ($14 for Canadian subscribers, $18 for all other international subs)
NOTE: 5mm washi add on subscription is available to ADD to any existing subscription for an additional $6 USD/month. (no additional shipping when added onto box) IF you would like to add the 5mm subscription after you have already enrolled, please contact customer service at email@example.com for assistance!
Subscription box items include:
♥ Between 3-5 completely unique hand-designed washi tapes in various sizes
♥ One-of-a-kind foiled journaling card
♥ Gorgeous sticker sheets exclusively designed by simply gilded with foiled and functional/decorative stickers
♥ A 'surprise' item (or two!) that will vary from month to month. These include washi cards (to use for sharing washi and for traveling), unique sticky notes, pen, etc
♥ Access to the "double dip" program to shop the box (offered approximately every other month)

Please read all FAQs in regard to subscription box prior to subscribing
1. NEW subscription signups will open when announced. The days will vary so make sure you are signed up to the email newsletter to receive up to date information on enrollment
2. The boxes for the same month will ship around the the last week of each month. They may ship earlier depending on various factors. However, if there is for any reason any delay in shipment, subscribers will all be notified in advance.
3. The box price is $30 per month. Shipping & handling domestically is a flat $6, Canadian shipping is $14, and international shipping is $18 - please select this correct corresponding shipping rate during checkout.
4. You will be billed for your first box the date you place the order. All future boxes will be billed on the 17th of each month.
5. You may cancel your subscription up until 11:59pm CT on the 14th of the month (3 days before payment is charged) . After this point, your order will ship as scheduled and any cancellations will apply to the following month. To cancel, please email your wish to cancel along with your name on the account and most recent order number to firstname.lastname@example.org -- I kindly ask that you do not cancel via Paypal billing agreement as I am unable to reactivate your account and you will have to wait to re-enroll again if this is a mistake! (**note CA residents have the option to cancel at any time via their customer portal)
6. For all subscriptions - if you cancel after one month, you will be charged the $40 rate for standalone boxes. However, if you have gone at least 2 consecutive months without cancelling, you will be able to cancel penalty free before the 14th of the month.
**Please note - once you unsubscribe/cancel your subscription and resubscribe, the same rule applies**
7. Karats earned in shop are not applicable towards the subscription box but Karats earned from the purchase of the subscription box can be applied to other purchases in shop including Double Dip orders. Karats are non transferable.
8. Please note that for payment, Paypal balances and prepaid cards will likely not work. This is due to encrypting on store-bought cards that will not allow them to be used for transactions of a recurring nature, such as the box. Please make sure you have a valid credit card/debit card attached to your paypal account.
9. Customer is responsible for any updates in shipping address and billing information - you are able to update your shipping and billing information under your account under 'manage subscription' (This is a separate dashboard than your regular account - you must go into manage subscription to update) -- however, if you change your address AFTER the 17th of the month when orders are created OR after your initial payment and order placement, you MUST contact customer support to ensure change has been made.
10. All packages returned due to customer address entry error will be either refunded for the product price less shipping cost OR reshipped at buyer's expense.
Note -- if you are international and changing your address to domestic or vice versa, you must contact us at email@example.com to have your shipping rate adjusted.
11. If payment is not received by the 23rd of the month, your box for the month is not guaranteed and reserved. Please make sure any payment issues are resolved by this date. Please note that any major changes to Paypal including switching Paypal accounts or switching from Paypal to a credit card will require a manual update. (You may switch your default cards within Paypal at anytime - this does not require action on our part) -- If you need assistance with extending your payment window or updating payment, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
12. Enrolling in the subscription box gives you perks such as the Double Dip which is an opportunity to buy additional items from the box and any leftover stock from previous boxes. By subscribing, you agree to receiving communications about these events in addition to occasional surveys that are completely optional. You my unsubscribe to any mailing list at any time by scrolling down and selecting 'unsubscribe' from our email list service.
13. When enrolling for the first time, please make sure there are no additional items besides subscription items in your cart! (box and add-on) Any orders with additional shop items may result in a prolonged shipping delay.
14. If you have any issues, please contact email@example.com for resolution. We kindly ask for 1-3 business days for a response.
